How do we reserve our session or wedding date?

I ask all potential clients to fill out a questionnaire before booking so I can get to know them a little and what they are looking for in a photographer. To reserve a boudoir or portrait session on our calendar, a signed contract and a $100 deposit is required. For weddings, a $900 deposit and signed contract is required. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

I'm nervous on getting boudoir portraits done. Any tips?

That is a totally natural feeling! Anytime you get in front of a camera you begin to feel vulnerable. Take a deep breath and relax, it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm all about making you feel empowered. You will be pampered with professional hair & makeup. If you drink, I suggest having a complimentary glass of champagne or wine to relax those nerves. I also suggest bring one of your best friends to help you have fun and make you laugh!

Why film? Do you shoot only film?

Nothing can beat the romantic feel and color that film provides. There is an artistic, timeless feel to film that you just can't get with digital. As a photographer, it helps me slow down and perfect my craft. I'm a hybrid photographer so I shoot both film and digital at every session and wedding.

Can I send you my Pinterest board with posing ideas?

We always want you to trust us enough to capture genuine shots that will tell your story and your story only. Though there are many great shots you can find on Pinterest, they will not come off as genuine if we try to replicate someone else work.

How long will I need you at the wedding?

My packages range from 6-10 hours of coverage. 3-2 weeks before the wedding, we will create a timeline together and figure out the exact amount of time you will need us at the weddings. In my professional opinion, 8 hours is usually plenty of time but additional hours can be purchased.

Do I get the high res photos and the rights to print?

Depends on the session. Weddings and lifestyle portrait packages include the high-res photos and rights to print! Boudoir sessions include professional hair + makeup and photography but products and high-res photos are sold separately.

Are we allowed to share our photos on social media?

Yes love seeing our clients share their images on social media! We just ask that you always credit Tonya Espy Photography and please do not use any filters on the photos.
