How do I book a session?

I ask all potential clients to fill out a questionnaire before booking so I can get to know them a little and what they are looking for in a photographer. To reserve a boudoir or portrait session on our calendar, a signed contract and a $100 deposit is required. The remaining balance is due the day of your session.

I'm nervous about getting boudoir portraits done. Any tips?

That is a totally natural feeling! Anytime you get in front of a camera you begin to feel vulnerable. Take a deep breath, it's going to be a lot of fun! My style of boudoir is feminine and romantic. Nothing to risqué but completely tailored to your style and personality. You will be pampered with professional hair & makeup and complimentary champagne or wine.

Why film? Do you shoot only film?

Nothing can beat the romantic feel and color that film provides. There is an artistic, timeless feel to film that you just can't get with digital. As a photographer, it helps me slow down and perfect my craft. I'm a hybrid photographer so I shoot both film and digital at every session.

Can I send you my Pinterest board with posing ideas?

I always want you to trust me enough to capture genuine shots that will tell your story and your story only. Though there are many great shots you can find on Pinterest, they will not come off as genuine if we try to replicate someone else work.

Will you share my boudoir photos?

Your privacy is extremely important to me! I love to share beautiful boudoir photos on social media and my website my I never share photos without my clients permission. Upon booking, you’ll sign a contract, and choose a model release option that works best from you ranging from a full model release, partial model release, or no model release.

Do I get the high res photos and the rights to print?

For boudoir sessions, digital images and print products are sold separately and are NOT included in your session fee. Each session includes a fully edited proofing gallery and a print credit to go towards your print order!

Are we allowed to share our photos on social media?

Yes love seeing our clients share their images on social media! We just ask that you always credit Tonya Espy Photography and please do not use any filters on the photos.

How long have you been a professional photographer?
